Dope Sneaks Need Dope Socks.

Greetings Ladies & Gents,

I hope that you are all doing well out there in your respective locations. We are clearly all dealing with a global issue(COVID-19) that is pretty much out of our control at this particular time. I'm going to tell you to do your best with social distancing, cleanliness and simply being smart about the way you move in general. In the meantime, I figured it wouldn't hurt for me to continue providing some fun posts to share with you guys when it comes to my current fashion world. So let's get right to it!

As I believe I've mentioned before, sneakers are a huge part of my style identity. Folks joke about this, but often times I'll catch myself checking out the kicks someone has on before I notice anything else about their outside physique. It's safe to say that my passion for what one chooses to walk around in is very real. However, I never really gave much attention to what socks I'd pair with my shoes. I don't think it mattered to me much because most times my sneakers would be covering the socks up anyway so it felt irrelevant.

I started noticing one of my bros(shout out to Keith) always wearing some cool looking socks with his outfits. Keith is a fellow sneaker enthusiast so I actually took his decision making with these combinations seriously. After picking his brain on best places to find standout socks, I made it my new mission to step my game up and start my own collection. I began stocking up in January and I'm happy with the variety I've come to call my own.

I'll share just a few of my sneakers/socks combos with you all in this post. Based on the pictures I've provided, one can see just how much more the right pair of socks can give your kicks the unique pop that separates them from the pack. Of course one can't go wrong with a crisp white or black pair of Nike socks, and I definitely have my share of those too. But it's just something about having a design or character on your socks that helps broadcast your style and who you are as an individual that makes all the difference.

Try out some new socks to go with your favorite pairs of sneakers. Don't be afraid to experiment with different combinations. Several pairs of dope socks can make one pair of sneakers have multiple personalities. The possibilities are low key endless. If you have any questions on where to find certain styles or particular characters on socks, feel free to reach out to me at pitts16@gmail.com.

No more dusty socks with fire kicks. Let's do better!
