Not so Ugly Sweater.
Greetings Ladies and Gents,
The fact that we are exactly one week away from Christmas Day is wild to me. I have no idea where the time goes, but here we are. During this time of year, we see all different kinds of holiday themed parties, and one of the most popular of these are ugly sweater parties. While the ugly sweaters have their special place in our hearts when it comes to these gatherings, there's nothing like an actual good looking sweater to wear for those other days in the cooler months.
Lately I've found myself in a mood to show you all some alternatives to suits and just an overall feel to what my style currently looks like. With that in mind, I went with a (not ugly) sweater and a pair of dressy (not ripped) jeans. To finish things off, I wore a pair of brown dress shoes along with a long trench coat, since the weather has wanted to be all over the place lately.
To make the little red tie on my Polo bear pop a bit more, I wore a pair of red socks. Y'all know by now that I'm pretty extra when it comes to the details, but I always feel like they make a world of a difference. The navy in my sweater and brown of the trench coat are some pretty reserved colors, and so adding some red to the mix brings some warmth to the combination. So on those days during the holiday season that you're not showing off your ugly sweaters, feel free to go with an attractive sweater too!
