The Significance of Sweats.

 Greetings Ladies & Gents,

I hope you are all staying safe and having a pleasant start to your April. I'm loving the fact that we are finally back to getting warm days in the 70s. If you know anything about me, you know I don't like it too hot out here...so I'm loving the current temps accompanied by a welcomed breeze. It's been quite a while since I gave you all an actual fashion post and so it's only right we do one today!

With us comfortably into the spring season now, we are starting to experience days of warmth more often than not. But that doesn't mean there aren't still the occasional mornings where one wakes up to cooler than expected weather. When this is the given scenario, you can't go wrong with a clean set of sweats(sweatpants and sweatshirt). While they may get the most use in the fall and winter time, there's still a valuable place for sweats in the early parts of spring.

As you see in the provided visuals, I went with a lighter grey color so that I'm giving off a warmer feel while also able to execute the desired sweats look at the same time. To balance out the neutral energy that the grey is giving off in my outfit, I wore a fun and colorful pair of sneakers with orange being the standout. I even picked out a pair of crew length socks that act both as a conversational detail and complementary to the shoes. The sneaker/sock combo gives just enough pop to the grey fit where I can provide spring mode in the form of sweats.

Once temperatures get to the point of no return and you're solely relying on t-shirts/shorts, we will have another blog discussion dedicated to that situation. But in the meantime, make the most out of those random days that decide to dip to 60. You'll benefit from having a reliable pair of sweats to throw on that are easy to put together yet make statements at the same time. Don't forget a clean/colorful pair of kicks and socks to top it all off and you're ready for the breezy day.
